Social Media Video Creators - Test Prep (Contract, Remote)
Study.com is a leader in online education, helping millions of learners reach their academic and career goals. We're expanding our YouTube presence with channels for teachers, students, and military test prep. We produce short, high-quality videos that teach test strategies, provide exam overviews, and walk learners through practice problems.
We're looking for experienced on-camera video creators who can deliver engaging videos and make complex topics feel simple and approachable.
This is a remote, contract role. All work is paid per video.
What You'll Do
You will record short-form YouTube videos (typically under 10 minutes) using scripts and practice problems we provide. Videos will focus on:
  • Test strategies and exam insights
  • Clear, learner-friendly content explanations
  • Step-by-step practice problem walkthroughs

Our audience includes learners at every level. Your goal is to make test prep confident, approachable, and effective.
Examples of video topics:
  • 5 Easy Strategies to Stay Motivated for the Praxis Exam
  • Practice Problems for ASVAB Mathematics Knowledge

No editing is required. We're seeking creators who are confident presenting clearly on camera.
Responsibilities
  • Record engaging, instructional videos for YouTube
  • Deliver content in a clear, concise, and encouraging style
  • Maintain a consistent, professional on-screen presence
  • Incorporate feedback and revise delivery as needed
Required Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Video experience: Proven experience creating content for YouTube, TikTok, or similar platforms
  • On-camera skills: Confident, natural presenter who can explain complex ideas simply
  • Equipment:
    • Reliable microphone and camera
    • Tablet/stylus (or equivalent) for demonstrations/practice problem examples
  • Professionalism: Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced expertise in ASVAB-related subjects
  • Experience working from scripts or writing instructional scripts
  • Background creating educational or tutorial content
  • Military experience (current or former service) is a plus, not required
  • Expertise in at least one subject area, such as:
