Contractor – QA ISO 19443 Support

? Ready to lead the SMR evolution? Bring your ISO 19443 expertise to the forefront of next-gen nuclear energy—100% from your home office.

  • Location: 100% REMOTE (Contiguous U.S.)
  • Pay Rate: $90.00 – $100.00 / HR
  • Type: Staff Augmentation Contract (40 hours/week, 6–9 months with possible extensions)

Most nuclear QA roles are stuck in the past—this one isn't. You will be the defining subject matter expert bridging elite global quality standards with pioneering advanced reactor technology, taking complete ownership of the roadmap to secure ISO 19443:2018 certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Write, evaluate, and scale quality assurance instructions, procedures, and guidance documents to build out the ISO 19443 framework.
  • Procedure Compliance: Review Level 2 and higher internal procedures for alignment with the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD).
  • Accreditation Liaison: Serve as the primary interface, managing and coordinating directly with the external accreditation body to achieve full certification.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strict Experience Requirement: Direct, proven experience implementing ISO 19443:2018 in a commercial nuclear environment is strictly required.
  • Nuclear QA Background: 5+ years of experience associated with the development/implementation of nuclear QA programs (including ISO 9001:2015, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1).
  • Education: B.S. or B.A. degree preferred (10+ years of direct nuclear QA experience considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Regulatory: Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
