Contract Quality Assurance Analyst

MUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule 2-3 Days in Office

Seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to work in the COO Office of a large international Corporate and Investment Bank.Candidate will play a key role in the transformation of the Banking Division's CRM platform in support of the franchise's ambitious growth strategy. The engagement is initially for 3-6 months.

We need a driven, meticulous, and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our front-office team of project managers and business analysts to support delivery of a high-priority and high-visibility project, working with our development partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products meet the highest standards by identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality, primarily in UAT. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a passion for delivering reliable, user-friendly products which meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop manual test plans and test cases to evaluate product quality
  • Review functional and regression testing as needed
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in conjunction with Business Stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IT, Project Managers, and Business Stakeholders to fully understand requirements and specifications for testability
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports, including documentation and analysis of issues found in testing. Provide initial triage based upon constructive analysis of the issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, with clear and actionable feedback
  • Track and manage defects using Jira, ensuring that all issues are properly remediated, and appropriately regression tested prior to production release
  • Contribute to regular project meetings, providing feedback on testing timelines and priorities
  • Ensure strict adherence to established QA standards and methodologies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience performing the kinds of Quality Assurance work described above
  • Experience with Salesforce a strong plus
  • Superior oral & written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and handle multiple workstreams simultaneously, with limited supervision. Proficiency in working in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Time management skills and ability to deliver results against strict deadlines
  • Strong drive, initiative, and motivation to excel; self-starter; accuracy and attention to details in work product
  • Strong knowledge of advanced Excel and SQL a plus
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives
  • Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the engagement.
