POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The President will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring that Helix continues to thrive in competitive real estate development and construction markets. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the industry, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage a diverse team of professionals. The President will be responsible for setting the company's vision, leading its execution, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, and partners. Additionally, the President will maintain close communication with the company's owner/founder and the advisory board to align on strategic goals and ensure business sustainability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement Helix’s overall strategy, ensuring alignment with market opportunities and long-term objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, driving improvements in efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Financial Management: Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the achievement of financial goals.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth, including partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with investors, clients, government agencies, and other external partners to enhance Helix’s reputation and business opportunities.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, manage risk across projects, and uphold safety and sustainability standards.

Owner/Founder Communication:

  • Regular Updates: Provide clear, timely, and comprehensive updates to the owner/founder on all significant business matters, including operational performance, financial results, and strategic initiatives.
