Job description

We provide Power BI expertise to the legal group of one of the world’s largest manufacturers. Sadly, our team lead has decided to retire. So, we’re looking for a Power BI expert with leadership experience to join our team. Do you fit the bill? If so, please submit your qualifications and we’ll take a look. 


THE WORK:This job entails supporting the lawyers and legal staff of one of the world’s largest industrial companies. You’ll be responsible for accessing a variety of databases representing legal operations around the world, building reports and dashboards, and leading a small team of other Power BI implementers. 


LOCATION:This client is located in Detroit, Michigan. While we’d prefer a hybrid arrangement, with our lead onsite a few days per week, we’ll consider remote arrangements, in the US, for the right candidate.   


MODE:This is a contract position.


DURATION:The chosen consultant will be required through 31 December 2026. This role has run continuously for the past 20+ years (yes, technologies did shift over that time). With top-level performance, we expect it to continue indefinitely. 


REQUIRED:Applicants must be extremely organized and strong in 

  • Power BI

  • SQL

  • Verbal communication

DESIRED: In addition, it would be great if you had some background in: 

  • Legal operations

  • The automotive industry   

COMPENSATION:$75-$85 per hour on 1099. W2 employment may be available for Michigan-based candidates.
