Job description

Job Title: IAM Engineer 
Job Location: San Jose, CA 
Contract Duration: Long term Contract 
 
Responsibilities
5-7+ years in Identity & Access Management (IAM) roles (or similar IT Security roles)
Deep technical and operational knowledge of Ping Identity platform including PingOne and PingOne DaVinci
Experience working with application teams to integrate SAML, OAuth, and OIDC
Proficiency with Active Directory, Entra ID and LDAP directories
Experience with REST API design and development
Solid understanding of IAM processes and best practices including solutions such as SailPoint and BeyondTrust
IT audit experience is preferred
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, facilitate discussions, present findings and recommendations, and create and deliver training and communications
Strong project management skills to manage process improvement initiatives, including planning, coordination, and execution
Experience with security standards (such as NIST, ISO) and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA)
Experience working with resources in multiple time zones
Familiarity with Agile Methodology
