Job Title: Ping Engineer


Location: Chicago, IL 60661


Work Arrangement: Onsite (5 day a week in the office)


Client Industry: Banking


Duration: 12 - 18 Months Contract (Possibility of FTE conversion)


Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM 5 PM EST


About the Role


We are hiring a Ping Engineer to join our client on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative banking companies in the U.S. You ll help drive business outcomes, tech goals, transformation, etc.


Key Responsibilities



  • Define identity architecture - How identities are aggregated, normalized, and mastered

  • Design identity fusion logic - Matching rules, deduplication, golden record strategy

  • Guide PingIDM implementation - Oversee workflows, integrations, and configurations

  • Advise engineering teams - Review designs, troubleshoot issues, unblock delivery

  • Align stakeholders - Security, HR systems, app owners, infrastructure

  • Solve complex identity problems - Data conflicts, orphaned accounts, inconsistent sources

  • Ensure scalability & future-state design - Not just fixing current issue


What We re Looking For



  • Proven experience leading or owning PingIDM / ForgeRock implementations

  • Strong understanding of identity data modeling & reconciliation ( identity fusion )

  • Hands-on background (can troubleshoot, not just direct)
    Strong stakeholder communication (translate IAM into business impact)


Compensation


Hourly Rate: $70 $75 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
