Job Summary:
VAST Data is a rapidly growing infrastructure company focused on data management for the AI era. They are seeking a Solutions Architect to lead their technical alliance with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of integrated solutions and driving innovation in AI/ML and enterprise data solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the technical lead for the VAST–OCI alliance, defining solution architectures and reference designs.
• Collaborate with OCI engineering, product management, and solution architects to validate integrations and optimize joint offerings.
• Drive solution enablement by creating technical assets such as deployment guides, whitepapers, and reference architectures.
• Partner with VAST and OCI field teams in strategic customer engagements, serving as a trusted solution advisor.
• Identify opportunities to innovate joint AI/ML, HPC, and enterprise data solutions on OCI with VAST’s platform.
• Influence VAST’s product roadmap with insights from OCI partnership initiatives and customer requirements.
• Deliver technical enablement and training sessions to OCI and VAST go-to-market teams.
• Represent VAST at joint events, webinars, and executive briefings with Microsoft.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years in solutions architecture, systems engineering, or technical alliance roles in the cloud and/or data infrastructure space.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud architectures, data platforms, and AI/ML/HPC ecosystems—with a strong emphasis on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure technologies.
• Proven experience working in or with strategic cloud alliances (preferably OCI, AWS, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, storage, and large-scale data management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executives, field teams, and customers alike.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
