Were a small, product and data-driven team where operations team members take full ownership. Youll be hands-on from day one, making real decisions, improving processes and helping define how our operations systems evolve.

We're looking for an Operations Manager (18-month contract) to lead the continual improvement across multiple functions including onboarding, support, supply chain and outsourcing, while ensuring a high level of service with all partners and customers.

As an Operations Manager at Ritual you will

  • Build a strong understanding of our business and operations functions quickly because you will own and oversee the day-to-day operations of all central functions. Youre willing to roll up your sleeves and are not afraid of being in the details. Jump in to help when needed, with a willingness to learn the detailed ins-and-outs of our operations ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Work and lead cross-functionally. You have the ability to influence and align key stakeholders to make consistent, meaningful impact, as well as ensure key projects are always delivered.
  • Constantly zoom in and out. Youre able to see, set and deliver on a long term strategy, while seeing how the decisions we make impact team members who are closest to our customers and merchants.
  • Develop scalable programs and processes that improve our customer and merchant experience.
  • Monitor key business metrics and identify mechanisms to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Identify issues, errors, or opportunities and determine if action is needed; validate the accuracy of data/information to resolve inconsistencies; request extra information or resources when data gaps or discrepancies appear; and monitor trends in our metrics.
  • Optimize resourcing across teams to make sure all ops functions are well staffed, supported, efficient, and cost-effective.


Were looking for an Operations Manager that

  • Is a problem solver that is able to think strategically and develop actionable solutions to achieve goals
  • Has extreme attention to detail and is highly organized. You re-prioritize constantly and context-switch without dropping things.
  • Can develop and leverage relationships between external and internal stakeholders to achieve results with emphasis on becoming a trusted resource to merchant partners.
  • Strong communication skills - can explain complex technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Youll need to hold your own with engineers and understand technical constraints.
  • Familiarity with SQL, strong Google Sheets / Excel, and data analysis skills. Youre metric driven, data savvy and can articulate valuable insights. Not afraid of rolling up your sleeves to dig into the data
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity with ability to execute quickly and iterate.
  • 5+ years relevant experience. Ideally in a management role in operations, support or account management
  • Startup or marketplace experience is preferred
  • Restaurant operations experience is helpful
