Job description

Are you a proven operations leader with a knack for sales and a deep understanding of the green industry? Do you have a passion for building teams, driving revenue, and providing exceptional customer service?

Joshua Tree Experts is bringing our premium tree care, lawn care, and pest control services to the Fort Bend and Cypress, TX area. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tree Care Operations Manager to take the reins of this market. In this role, your primary focus will be masterfully running day-to-day operations, while also leaning into sales to drive growth, build relationships, and maximize your commission potential.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Operations & Logistics:

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations, including scheduling, dispatching, fleet management, and quality control across all three service lines: Tree Care, Lawn Care, and Pest Control.
  • Serve as an operational leader for your crews, ensuring all jobs are executed safely, on time, on budget, and to our premium quality standards.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Act as the face of the brand in the Fort Bend/Cypress market.
  • Lean into a consultative sales capacity-running estimates, educating homeowners, and closing high-ticket contracts to grow the territory (and fuel your own commission checks!).
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and swiftly address customer service inquiries to fiercely uphold the Joshua Tree Experts brand reputation.

Talent Management:

  • Lead the local hiring process to build a high-performing and motivated production team.
  • Provide continuous coaching, mentorship, and safety training to all field employees.
  • Foster a positive team culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Operational Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience in route-based home services, with a deep understanding of dispatching, equipment management, and safety protocols for lawn, tree, or pest control operations.
  • Sales Aptitude: You don't need to be a pushy salesperson, but you must be comfortable and confident speaking with affluent clients, proposing solutions, and closing deals to grow the business.
  • Deep Technical Knowledge: A thorough understanding of arboriculture, plant health care, and/or pest management. An ISA Certified Arborist designation is highly preferred!
  • Leadership Skills: A confident, hands-on leader who can motivate and inspire a field team while managing the bottom line.
  • Education & Licenses: A High School Diploma or GED is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. (Pesticide applicator licenses are a great bonus).

What We Provide for You

  • Competitive Base + Commission: A strong base salary between $55,000 and $70,000 (with room to negotiate higher for top-tier operational talent), plus a lucrative commission structure tied to your sales and location growth.
  • Career Growth: A well-defined career path with opportunities for advancement within a rapidly expanding national brand.
  • Work-Life Balance: A culture that values your time and provides the support needed to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid Training & Certifications: We invest in your professional growth, including paid training and the opportunity to earn further industry certifications.

If you are a driven, operations-focused leader who loves the thrill of closing a sale and is ready to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you! Apply Today!
