You will work in an educational environment that prioritizes safety, technical excellence, and continuous learning.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate training program requirements typically including the following:
  • Schedule and support Program and/or Curriculum Review Committee meetings
  • Develop meeting agendas based on training program requirements
  • Gather and present supporting training data for the Program/Curriculum Review Committees
  • Assign and track action items
  • Identify training program problems to management for resolution.
  • Develop meeting minutes based on training program requirements
  • Participate in internal and external training program assessments to ensure compliance and benchmark industry best practices.
  • Maintain training program procedures current.
  • Develop and implement resolutions to complex nuclear training program corrective actions and improvement items.
  • Maintain training program documentation consistent with nuclear industry training requirements.
  • Prepare and present the following typical Nuclear Training Materials consistent with the Systematic Approach to Training: Lesson Plans, Lesson Notes, Job Performance Measures (JPM), Laboratory Guides, Simulator Guides, Workbooks, Individualized Instruction Materials, and Seminars
  • Prepare and maintain the following typical nuclear training supporting documentation: Training Program Curriculum, Task, Needs, and Job Analysis, Task lists, Technical and Academic Review Checklists, Task to Training Matrix, Qualification Cards, Post Training Surveys, Training Effectiveness Evaluations, and Training Program Schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 6 years instructional or applicable department experience
  • Strong work ethic focused on timely completion of assigned work, procedure compliance, and leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial nuclear or Navy nuclear experience desired
