Job description

Cole Engineering Services, a By Light company, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support Product Support development activities for an emerging simulation and training capability for the United States Army. The candidate will support Product Support lifecycle hardware and electronics development activities.


  • Prepares extensive technical product support requirements, analysis, documentation, and execution. Participate in all stages including design, building and testing and training. Gather, track, and analyze product data as needed.
  • Contributes to the development of organizational goals and procedures.
  • Supports technical documentation compiling, writing, editing, and or coordination as required. Provides guidance and direction in the areas of quality, coverage, format, and style.
  • Can work with limited supervision and can resolve complex problems with limited or no assistance.
  • Work with Logistics Software Databases.
  • 25% to 35% Travel Required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Discipline, Bachelor’s in Engineering Technology or equivalent.
  • 1 to 4 years of Logistics Engineering experience.
  • MS Office proficient.

  • Logistics planning and movement of Military Simulation Equipment.
  • Experience with Military Industry MIL-STD-40051-2 Technical Manual development, Repair Parts Special Tools List (RPSTL) and development tools and documentation. Experience working with Military CDRLs, DIDs and MIL-HDBK standards.
  • Experience with the following software/hardware development, collaboration tools, and process. (JIRA, Confluence, Agile/Scrum).
  • Experience with the PIEE ecosystem (WAWF, EDA, SPRS) to drive product strategy and ensure compliance with federal acquisition requirements.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
