Job description

Description

As a Medical Director and Physician for Access Medical Clinics, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight for medical care services within the long-term care facility. The Medical Director collaborates with administration, nursing leadership, and attending providers to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and patient-centered care consistent with federal and state regulations.


Compensation for this role will include a monthly stipend plus a pay per visit model.

Qualifications

  • ย MD or DO with active state medical license
  • ย Board certification in geriatric, family or internal medicine
  • ย Experience in geriatrics, post-acute, or long-term care
  • ย Knowledge of CMS and LTC regulatory requirements


Typical Time Commitment

  • ย 4 hours per month per facility for administrative duties
  • ย On-site presence expectations once weekly for rounding on acute care and long-term care patients. Approx. 2 hours per week.
  • ย Participation in QAPI and leadership meetings
  • ย Availability for consultation
