In this role, you will be part of a thriving medical practice that focuses on providing comprehensive otolaryngological care. As a Locum, you will be instrumental in ensuring patient satisfaction and maintaining the high standards of care that we pride ourselves on. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of ear, nose, and throat conditions
  • Perform surgical procedures and interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing medical education and training
  • Stay updated with advancements in the field of Otolaryngology
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
  • 1-3 years of medical practice experience in Otolaryngology
  • Strong clinical and procedural skills in ENT-related issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
  • Active medical license to practice in the state of Maryland

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Weeknight beeper call

Setting: Inpatient & outpatient

Daily Volume: ~20 patients

Case Types: Bread and butter ENT, can also perform elective surgeries

Support Staff: MD, PA, MAs

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
