Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Join a leading acute care hospital in Oregon for a rewarding travel assignment with the flexibility of 13, 21, or 26-week contracts!

Shift
  • Night Shift
  • 3x12s
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • 48-hour workweeks available
Unit
  • Medical Surgical/Telemetry
  • Patient Ratio: 1:4
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
  • Previous travel experience required
  • Compact RN license or Oregon RN license in hand at submission
  • Epic charting experience required
  • BLS certification
  • Must have experience with:
    • Telemetry monitoring & dysrhythmia interpretation
    • Cardiac drips (non-titrating)
    • IV insulin protocols
    • Heparin protocols
    • Central lines, PICCs, ports
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Wound vacs & surgical drains
    • High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
    • Colostomy/Ileostomy care
    • Oral suctioning
    • Bowel obstruction patients
    • Renal failure
    • Blood administration
    • Rapid Response/Code Team participation
