Job description

The client is a “hybrid” technology and marketing consultancy based in the UK, bringing marketing automation to the UK Trades industry. They work with companies to grow with their SaaS marketing automation suite and digital advertising.

We have a unique opportunity for an account manager. The successful candidate will be proactive and driven and passionate about helping make a real impact in the lives of our clients. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, commission and oversee digital marketing projects working with our vendors, delight our clients with outstanding customer care and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities
  • Point of contact for clients (some, not all)
  • Commissioning and looking after digital projects and working with our vendors from (Fiver, Freelancers, Whitelabel Partners)
  • Liaison between our team and clients
  • Writing quotes, estimates, proposals
  • Onboarding clients, dealing with questions, queries and building relationships with clients
  • Overseeing Zendesk tickets - helping us with Client service requests using our ticketing system
  • Help with our Agency marketing, social media management, posting blogs, videos, updates
  • Email marketing and automation - Ability to create automated marketing campaigns (ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Go High Level)
  • Creative and editorial “eye” (a hawk’s attention to detail!)
  • Creating and documenting SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Produce Loom videos and step by step “how-tos) for repetitive business tasks and procedures
  • Regular reporting on clients and projects
  • Weekly and monthly reports including adoption rate an account to usage, problem areas and obstacles, and raising concerns and anticipating threats
  • Identify opportunities to add value and make offers to clients
  • Weekly overview of client and account health, status, issues, and recommendations
Required Skills and Experience
  • At least 3-5 years of digital marketing experience and background
  • Must have experience in Customer Success/Customer Service
  • Has experience/familiarity with the following programs: WordPress, Photoshop, Canva, CRMs, Google Products
  • Working knowledge of content management systems
  • Ability to populate and adapt content for WordPress sites and other standard CRMs
  • Experience in installing 3rd party widgets, plugins and customize content using WordPress Editor, Thrive Architect or Elementor, Clickfunnels, GHL
  • Understanding of web optimization best practices
  • Must have awareness of what constitutes good content, copy, and editorial standards
  • Should be a proactive problem-solver
  • Has superior communication and organizational skills
  • Has great attention to detail and quality
  • Is creative, hard-working, and enjoys putting in a shift
  • Easy-going
  • Loves superheroes (preferable, not essential)

  • At least 15mbps main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
  • A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 4 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
  • Note: Back-ups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption
