Purpose of the Job:

The Logistics Solutions Consultant is responsible for ensuring both efficient and reliable freight movement and growing revenue through new business development. This role combines operational excellence with sales responsibilities, focusing on building strategic client partnerships, delivering outstanding service, and expanding the company’s market presence.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with clients through proactive communication and consultative support
  • Oversee the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring timely pickup, transportation, and delivery of goods
  • Act as the liaison between clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers to resolve operational issues quickly
  • Match customer freight with qualified carriers and negotiate competitive contracts
  • Collaborate with pricing teams to ensure competitive, profitable rates
  • Prospect, cold-call, and network to grow your book of business
  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities by developing tailored logistics solutions
  • Achieve revenue and margin growth targets while maintaining service excellence

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Proven ability to build and grow client relationships
  • Results-driven with a focus on both service and sales outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred minimum 1-2 years of successful sales experience.
  • Preferred minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales, with a proven track record in both account management and business development.
