Lead a high-impact logistics operation where you will oversee 10-15 direct reports across customer service, account development, carrier management, and transportation operations while driving service excellence, profitability, and growth. Job Summary
Responsible for developing a team to meet the needs and expectations of our customers, carriers and the company as a whole. Acts as the communications conduit between production leadership and the executive team. Collaborates with the leadership group to develop short term and long term plans to exceed company expectations.

What you will do
  • Establishes and maintains operations standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy. Ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by employees.
  • Monitors operations, implements procedures and sets standards to maximize sales and profits and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensures sustained profitable growth by consistently identify new business opportunities at existing and potential customers.
  • Develops and implements ongoing process improvements to enhance productivity and streamline functions.
  • Manages operational costs impacting company profitability.
  • Monitors and motivates staff to exceed operational goals and customer expectations.
  • Manages administrative and operations services to support company operations.
  • Determines staffing requirements, interviews, hires and trains new employees.
  • Leads regular team meetings to discuss business updates, issues and recommendations.
  • Demonstrates proficiency at managing, coaching, counseling and mentoring other technical professionals. Is capable of inspiring high performance in others.
  • Performs all management duties including, but not limited to, budgeting, hiring, performance reviews, employee development, coordinating and scheduling work, salary recommendations, discipline, ensure employees report to work fit for duty, leadership, grievance resolution, coaching & counseling, models Travero's Core Values at all times.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related area Preferred

Required Experience
  • Experience in Transportation and/or Supply Chain Management Operations.
  • Experience effectively developing, managing and leading highly motivated, productive teams.
  • Must be available to be on call and to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Third Party Logistics.
  • Experience working in and creating efficient processes within Transportation Management Systems.
  • Experienced in managing people and leading teams/virtual teams.

    This position has an annualized market-based salary range:

    $95,000-$110,000

    The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
