Job description

Description:

The Logistics Operations Specialist provides operational and administrative support to MLS logistics team, ensuring accurate data entry, shipment setup, and system integrity within the Transportation Management System (TMS). This role is a foundational position designed to develop into a Logistics Coordinator.


Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter and validate shipment data within TMS
  • Create loads and generate shipping documents (Rate Confirmations, BOL’s, Etc)
  • Assist with tracking shipments and flagging exceptions
  • Support carrier setup and onboarding processes
  • Schedule pickups and appointments
  • Maintain accurate shipment and customer data
  • Assist with freight audit and invoice validation
  • Support plant onboarding and data cleanup
  • Perform other duties as assigned
