Job description

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is currently seeking a business litigation attorney as a Counsel position to join the firm's Irvine, California office. This position has a reduced hourly requirement and is a non-partner track position without the requirement of business development or firm management.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with complex business disputes and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice.
  • Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, managing and/or supervising litigation cases, as well as significant court room experience.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience handling litigation involving consumer loans of all types, including contracts, loan agreements/modifications, wrongful foreclosure, and other mortgage related litigation.
  • Must be licensed in California.
  • Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills, including complex motion practice and interacting with clients.

Compensation:

  • The estimated salary range for this role in California is $235,000-$290,000 a year.
