Marker - Leather (Cherryville)
The Company
Bradington-Young is a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation. Hooker Furnishings, in its 101st year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets.

Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attitude and dedication to teamwork to join our team as a Marker in our Cherryville, NC location.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out leather on marking table.
  • Use chalk and/or pen to mark leather accordingly for cutting.
  • Read and understand diagrams indicating marking patterns.
  • Follow pattern correctly when marking material.
  • Use basic hand tools to complete marking process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment, preferred.
  • Ability to stand and move around for 9 hours a day
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Shift: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4:30pm amp; Friday 7a-11a
Pay: Depends on experience
