Position Summary:
Oversees and coordinates program activities designed to ensure effective and economical support for production of various goods and services. Responsible for the efficient flow of goods between locations. They are responsible for both incoming and outgoing shipments, analyzing costs, negotiating contracts, creating best practices as well as overseeing the day-to-day logistics activities including customs clearance and documentation.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Management of the inventory control team, including staffing decisions, training and development of employees
  • Cycle count process including ensuring timely and accurate counts and adjustments.
  • Annual physical inventory audit including planning, cross-functional coordination, and execution aligned with company stated policies.
  • Approval authority for inventory adjustments including troubleshooting & driving corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of inventory metrics including performance and health measures as well as audit results
  • Audits of inventory processes and transactions to ensure the materials handling team is executing to written process documentation.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
  • Analytical and strong math skills.
  • Excellent leadership capability.
  • Oracle knowledge

Position Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or relevant field required.
4 years of experience experience in lieu of education
Experience:
5 - 7 years' experience in inventory management
Manufacturing Environment experience desired.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing Environment
May lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
