Job description

Construction is one of the few industries where getting paid can sink a company. Before a dollar moves, contractors are managing retainage held across dozens of subcontractors, chasing lien waivers, reconciling progress billing against a Schedule of Values that shifts with every change order, and shepherding payment applications through a chain of GCs, owners, and lenders. For mid-market contractors, this process is largely manual, error-prone, and slow - and the cost of getting it wrong is existential.
Intuit is building the Field-to-Finance operating system for construction. As Staff Product Manager, Field Services & Construction, you'll own the financial execution layer at the heart of construction AR. This role will turn one of the industry's most painful, high-stakes workflows into something that works.
Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end construction AR product - from payment application creation and submission through retainage tracking, lien waiver collection, and cash application.
Ship agentic workflows that automate the high-friction, high-stakes steps in the construction payment chain, giving contractors real-time visibility into what's been billed, approved, held in retainage, and at risk.
Lead discovery through job-site visits and direct research with GCs, subcontractors, and owners to deeply understand how money moves - and where it gets stuck.
Define success metrics and own the roadmap, driving cross-functional delivery across engineering, design, sales, and marketing.
Partner with accounting firms and other ecosystem stakeholders who serve the construction industry to ensure the financial workflows you build meet the standards their clients depend on.
Qualifications
8+ years in product management with direct experience in construction tech, construction finance software, ERP, or B2B SaaS serving the construction industry.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in construction project management, contract administration, or construction finance.
Working knowledge of construction AR: payment applications, retainage, lien waivers, Schedule of Values, and change order management.
Experience translating domain knowledge into software - building or shaping products that serve contractors, owners, or lenders across the construction workflow.
Fluency in agentic product design, including confidence thresholds, escalation logic, and human-in-the-loop decision points.
Experience building mobile-first products for frontline workers, ideally in low-connectivity field environments.
