  • Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching intuitive 3D modeling, space planning, and presentation creation in SketchUp. Guides students through constructing building models, applying materials and textures, organizing geometry with groups and components, creating scenes for walkthroughs, and exporting to Layout for dimensioned drawings. Emphasizes rapid design visualization and connects SketchUp to architecture, interior design, woodworking, and real estate presentation applications.
  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with SketchUp curricula and common challenges such as understanding the inference system, managing group and component hierarchy, and achieving accurate dimensions. Adapts instruction using progressive modeling exercises, real-world building projects, and presentation workflow tutorials to support students from SketchUp beginners through advanced users creating professional architectural and design visualizations.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
