What are Contract Home Health RNs?

Contract Home Health RNs are registered nurses who provide medical care to patients in their homes, working on a contractual basis rather than as permanent employees. They typically assist with post-surgical care, medication management, wound care, and patient education, often for elderly or chronically ill patients. Contract Home Health RNs often encounter challenges such as managing a diverse caseload, adapting quickly to new patients and documentation systems, and working independently without immediate on-site support.
