Working full time typically means working around 36 to 40 hours per week, often in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, or private homes. Their duties include monitoring patients' health, administering medications, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining patient records. Full Time LPNs play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring a smooth workflow within healthcare teams.

What is the highest paid LPN job?

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) typically earn higher salaries in specialized settings such as surgical units, intensive care, or working in states with higher wage rates. To thrive as a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you need a practical nursing diploma, state licensure, and a solid understanding of basic patient care and medical procedures. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, medication administration tools, and clinical documentation is critical. These competencies are essential for ensuring patient safety, accurate treatment, and effective collaboration in diverse healthcare environments.
