Job Description:

GDIT has an opportunity for a Forward Repair Activity (FRA) Logistics Lead supporting U.S. military operations in Europe. This role supports logistics, financial, and personnel management functions that keep the FRA operating effectively. This position is a NON TESA and requires an active Secret clearance.

***This is a Non TESA Position, Candidate Must be Subject to Criminal Background Investigation, Posses current German work authorization, German health insurance, and pay German taxes. No Relocation, Living Allowance or Logistical Support.

Meaningful work and impact:

Managing daily FRA logistics operations and personnel.
Perform administrative and analytical tasks to ensure mission readiness and compliance with contract requirements.

Logistics Management:

  • Analytical Thinker
  • Familiar with Logistic Modernization Program (LMP)
  • GCSS-A Certified
  • In-depth experience and understanding of Army/DoW Supply Policy, Supply Chain Management, and processes and regulations.
  • Understanding of acquisition procedures, specific contracting fields, and compliance rules. (Federal Acquisition Regulation/FAR compliance)
  • Superior comprehension and communication skills; must be able to translate customer requirements into clear and actionable tasks
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with DLA Disposition Services.
  • Controls the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information between points of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site, through to customer placement to meet customer or manufacturing requirements.
  • Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration, and related functions.
  • Creates asset property records and maintains the asset records in the GDIT Asset Management database.
  • Conduct physical inventory of Government and Customer assets and materials to ensure accuracy of property records and compliance with property procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Support processes and documentation for government property assets; excess and lost property; and audits.
  • Maintain Government Property Management Certification level required for the position.

Financial Management:

  • Experience with Government or Corporate credit card purchasing reconciliation, allocation, and expense reports.
  • Experience with drafting and reviewing Statements of Works for complex projects.
  • Experience with establishing and maintaining life support contracts.
  • Experience tracking contract requirements, documentation, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience supporting enterprise contract vehicles, strategic sourcing activities, or contract administration processes
  • Knowledgeable with Federal Acquisition, FEDMALL and Govt Purchasing.

Personnel Management:

  • Conduct training and development of personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements and maintain safe, positive working conditions.
  • Maintain accountability, review leave and manpower analyses.
  • Monitor and document employee attendance and performance.
  • Train and oversee subordinates to verify that they are performing all their duties effectively.

Transportation Management:

  • Experience with U.S. Customs compliance regulations and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code classification, ECCN, and Incoterms is preferred.
  • Experience with import and export coordination and execution; familiar with European customs regulations and processes.
  • Experience with processing and utilizing military transportation offices.
  • Experience with DD 1149 Consolidating shipping orders, DD 250 Material Inspection and Receiving Report.

Flexibility:

  • Support all functional areas as needed and assist during workload surges.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Site Manager.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of related experience in Logistics Management.
  • Active/ Current Secret Clearance..
  • Background in HAZMAT 12 and HAZMAT 15 Certification
  • Experience with the full spectrum of GCSS-A Maintenance & Work Order T-Codes (Financial & Reporting T-Codes), Supply & Warehouse T-Codes, Property Accountability T-Codes, and Financial & Reporting T-Codes.
  • Experience with supervision, staffing, customer service, strategic planning, budget development, equipment maintenance, and technical leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, GCSS-A (SME-level preferred), Logistic Modernization Program (LMP) and electronics troubleshooting
  • Experience with the full spectrum of GCSS-A Maintenance & Work Order T-Codes (Financial & Reporting T-Codes), Supply & Warehouse T-Codes, Property Accountability T-Codes, and Financial & Reporting T-Codes.
  • Experience with supervision, staffing, customer service, strategic planning, and budget fundamentals.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety Shoes must be worn on worksite
  • This is a Non TESA Position, Candidate Must be Subject to Criminal Background Investigation, German Tax ID, German health insurance, Paying German taxes, and Posses current German work authorization (* Work Permit does not apply to SOFA Status dependents). The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $0. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
