Job description

Responsibilities

The Events Director will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact events company-wide, elevating the Related Ross brand and driving engagement across our portfolio of mixed-use destinations. Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, this role oversees conferences, investor and media roadshows, sponsorship activations, community curated programming, residential experiences, and office tenant events.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with exceptional attention to detail, a passion for hospitality, and a proven record of producing immersive and brand-defining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive events strategy aligned with corporate communications, marketing, and business objectives.
  • Oversee planning and execution of all company-wide events, including property milestone events, brand partner events, investor experiences, and community activations.
  • Partner closely with sponsorship, customer experience, and marketing teams across verticals to ensure brand consistency and synergy across initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary lead and manage experiential and production agencies, owning strategic vision, design programming, and performance oversight across all major events and activations
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Sponsorships to plan, coordinate, and execute partner signage and branding across all event touchpoints, ensuring accuracy and maintenance of placements, brand compliance, and sponsor visibility and provide timely post-event deliverables, including professional branded photography, recap assets, and reporting to demonstrate partner value and fulfillment. Manage vendor relationships, budgets, schedules, contracts, COI’s, SOP’s, and run-of-shows to ensure flawless event execution and fiscal responsibility.
  • Curate programming and hospitality experiences that showcase Related Ross as an industry leader and enhance relationships with partners, residents, tenants and visitors.
  • Provide on-site leadership during events to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Evaluate event performance through post-event reporting, insights, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current and forward thinking on trends in event design, hospitality, and experiential marketing to inspire innovation and differentiation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience planning and producing large-scale, high-profile events and activations.
  • Background in luxury, real estate, or hospitality environments highly preferred.
