Reportingto the Director, Drug Plan Management, the successful candidate will providethought leadership to inform GreenShield's pharmacy strategy in the Quebecmarket. A key focus of the role is close collaboration with cross-functionalteams to service clients and support product development within the pharmacybenefit  management team.

ResponsibilitiesInclude:

  • Participates inGreenShield's Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee; acts as a subject matterexpert bringing the Quebec perspective to inform drug benefit evaluation andlisting decisions.
  • Provides guidance onformulary development, drug benefit administration and drug claims adjudicationwhile ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provides support andsubject matter expertise to the pharmacy clinical services team as it relatesto evaluation of drug prior authorization requests.
  • Accountable for competitivepositioning, product development, management, and maintenance of the pharmacyproduct portfolio with a focus on the Quebec market.
  • Acts as a subject matterexpert for existing and new pharmacy products and offerings.
