Job description

Electrical Project Manager
Job Description (including but not limited to)
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and contributing to electrical projects
Managing all aspects of electrical tasks and delegating responsibilities to electrical professionals
Follow safety regulations and company policies regarding installation and maintenance
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and technical personnel to gather correct
Information regarding project logistics and avoid future electrical issues
Provide their expertise in electrical engineering and design for cable placement
Tasks:
Provide leadership over electrical construction projects:
  • Preparing bids and estimates
  • Negotiating contracts and contract terms
  • Securing profitable work
  • Submit partial and/or final billings
  • Manage manpower, equipment and tools
  • Establishing project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
  • Maintaining high levels of communication with all parties involved in projects
  • Preparing contracts, change orders, and purchase orders
  • Requisitioning needed supplies and materials
  • Maintaining safe job sites and encouraging safe work practices
  • Creating documentation for future reference
  • Reviewing electrical installation for correct functioning
  • Providing oversight for accuracy and consistency to electrical standards
  • Manage all project-related expenses, materials, and budget tasks
  • develop plans and schedules for deploying electrical resources
  • Act as a liaison with other technical staff to make sure projects are scalable as time goes on
  • Report their progress to the electrical supervisor

Requirements:
Prefer a Minimum of 4 yearsโ€™ experience in the Commercial and Industrial electrical field
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar field
Additional electrical certifications may be preferred
Must be efficient and detail oriented to ensure quality of service
Strong communication, multitasking, and prioritization skills
Demonstrated experience in a project management role
Proficiency with project management and estimating software and MS Office Suite
LEED Certification
Accubid experience
New Construction experience
A valid driverโ€™s license
Fire Alarm License a plus
