Job description

The Electrical Project Manager will oversee electrical construction projects primarily within the commercial sector, managing medium-sized teams of 6-15 members. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires coordinating all phases of project execution from estimating and purchasing to project closeout. The manager will ensure timely delivery, effective communication, and cost control while occasionally traveling to job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate project costs and prepare budgets
  • Manage material purchasing and supplier coordination
  • Oversee manpower allocation and team management
  • Attend and facilitate construction meetings
  • Manage material submittals and documentation
  • Monitor job costing and prepare financial projections
  • Price and process change orders
  • Handle requests for information (RFIs)
  • Prepare and review monthly billings
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors
  • Complete project closeout documentation
