Job description

Electrical Engineer – EPC / Industrial Power / BESS - Senior and Staff

📍 Location: Nevada / South Carolina

💰 Salary: $130,000 to $192,000 base

✅ Relocation support available

✅ Permanent or temp-to-perm options available


I am currently recruiting for Electrical Engineering opportunities with a major battery materials and energy infrastructure business, supporting their EPC team on complex industrial power, BESS, medium voltage / high voltage and utility-scale electrical infrastructure projects.

This is a strong opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who wants to work on large-scale, technically complex projects across industrial facilities, battery energy storage, substations, grid integration and power distribution.


The role will involve:


• Electrical design for industrial facilities, BESS and power infrastructure

• Medium voltage / high voltage electrical systems

• Substations, utility interconnection and grid integration

• Short circuit, arc flash, load flow and protection studies

• Single-line diagrams, grounding, raceway, cable tray and power distribution

• Reviewing RFIs, submittals, vendor drawings and technical documents

• Supporting construction, commissioning and field engineering teams

• Working across NEC, NFPA, IEEE and relevant electrical codes


Ideal background:


• Electrical Engineering degree

• PE licence, or eligibility to obtain PE in Nevada / South Carolina

• EPC, industrial, renewables, BESS, utility, substation or power systems experience

• Experience with ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or Bluebeam

• Exposure to BESS, microgrids, energy storage, substations or MV/HV infrastructure would be highly desirable
