What is a Contract EHR Implementation Project Manager?

A Contract EHR Implementation Project Manager is a professional hired on a contractual basis to oversee the process of implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in healthcare organizations. Their role involves planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of EHR deployment, including workflow analysis, staff training, data migration, and system testing. To thrive as a Contract EHR Implementation Project Manager, you need expertise in project management, healthcare IT, and electronic health records (EHR) systems, typically backed by a relevant degree and certifications like PMP or CPHIMS.
