What are some common challenges faced by Contract EHR Implementation Project Managers during client onboarding, and how can these be effectively addressed?

Contract EHR Implementation Project Managers often encounter challenges such as aligning diverse stakeholder expectations, managing tight project timelines, and adapting to varying levels of end-user technical proficiency. What is a Contract EHR Implementation Project Manager?

A Contract EHR Implementation Project Manager is a professional hired on a contractual basis to oversee the process of implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in healthcare organizations. They work closely with stakeholders such as IT teams, clinicians, and vendors to ensure the EHR system meets clinical and regulatory requirements. The contract aspect means they are typically engaged for a specific project duration rather than as a permanent employee.

To thrive as a Contract EHR Implementation Project Manager, you need expertise in project management, healthcare IT, and electronic health records (EHR) systems, typically backed by a relevant degree and certifications like PMP or CPHIMS.
