About the Role:

Insight Global is seeking a Document Control Specialist to support a large manufacturing client. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys independent, detail-oriented work and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and organization. This is a 3-month contract position


The primary focus of this role is scanning physical documents, converting them to digital files, and organizing records according to established filing standards. The work is repetitive in nature and requires strong attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities

  • Scan and digitize large volumes of physical documents
  • Organize, rename, and file documents within Windows File Explorer
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and document management standards
  • Ensure files are categorized correctly and stored in the proper locations
  • Review scanned documents for quality and completeness
  • Ask clarifying questions when needed to ensure documentation is processed accurately
  • Manage high-volume, repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail
