Configuration Analyst - Contract
 
DISHER is seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer for our customer in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a 6-18 month contract-to-hire opportunity.

What you will get to do:
  • Plan and implement configuration management and data management processes aligned with company standards, business needs, and industry best practices 

  • Serve as a key contributor to Teamcenter as the system of record for:  

  • Engineering documents and drawings 

  • Product structures and Bills of Material (BOMs) 

  • Configuration and revision control 

  • PLC Software 

  • Simulation and Emulation data 

    • Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering documentation including:  

    • Drawings 

    • Specifications 

    • Solution deliverables 

    • Change documentation 

    • Analyze proposed design or configuration changes to assess impact on:  

    • Product structures 

    • Downstream manufacturing and installation 

    • Customer-specific solutions

What will make you successful:
  • 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field 

  • Hands-on experience in configuration management 

  • Experience using Siemens Teamcenter and SAP VC 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 

  • Experience administering or supporting Teamcenter PLM 

  • Strong understanding of:  

  • Product structures and BOMs 

  • Engineering drawings and standards 

  • Experience supporting product configuration and variant management 

  • Ability to operate as a self-starter in a fast-evolving digital engineering environment 

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, automation approaches, and AI-enabled workflows
