Location: Toronto or Mississauga, ON

Contract Duration: September 1, 2026 to February 26, 2027

Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days per week in office

Rate: $80 to $96/hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer, to join a technology team supporting enterprise applications within the financial services environment.

This role will focus heavily on analyzing, remediating, testing, and validating security vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing and security assessments across both legacy and modern .NET applications. The successful candidate will bring strong Microsoft application development expertise along with hands on experience in secure coding and vulnerability remediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and remediate vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and security assessments.

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET Web API, and WCF Services.

• Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.

• Support authentication and authorization solutions using Entra ID, Auth0, and AD LDS.

• Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server database objects, queries, and T SQL.

• Manage source code and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and TFS/Azure DevOps.

• Configure, deploy, and support applications within IIS and Windows Server environments.

• Perform unit testing, code reviews, regression testing, and security validation.

• Collaborate with development, security, and technology teams to ensure vulnerabilities are effectively addressed and applications follow secure coding practices.

Required Qualifications

Must Have

• 4+ years of experience in Microsoft application development.

• Demonstrated experience supporting penetration testing remediation initiatives.

• Strong hands on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET, and C#.

• Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET Web API, and WCF Services.

• Front end development experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.

• Strong Microsoft SQL Server and T SQL experience.

• Experience with GitLab, TFS/Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working with IIS and Windows Server.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies including Entra ID, Auth0, and AD LDS.

• Strong understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
