We are currently seeking a Business Systems & Data Analytics Manager in Decatur, Illinois.

The Business Systems & Data Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging enterprise technology, data architecture, and operational strategy. This role is responsible for owning the company's Business Intelligence (BI) data stack, administering core ERP and Salesforce CRM infrastructure, and identifying process optimization opportunities across all business facilities. Working directly with executive leadership, the candidate will act as a change agent to drive data-informed decision-making that directly impacts a $200M+ revenue stream.

Responsibilities:

Data Architecture & Business Intelligence

  • Own the Data Stack: Manage and optimize the Sisense BI platform, ensuring clean, consolidated data streams across all 4 business facilities.
  • Advanced Analytics: Write custom SQL queries to evaluate inventory demand, track territory performance, and identify operational friction.
  • Predictive Operations: Maintain and advance predictive analytics models and AI prompt engines to support smarter, automated decision-making.
  • System Ownership: Serve as the functional administrator for the core enterprise ERP system and Salesforce CRM infrastructure.
  • Process Automation: Design, build, and deploy custom process flows within Salesforce to streamline customer lifecycle management and centralize touchpoints.
  • Cross-System Integration: Assist leadership with technical due diligence and system integration during M&A onboarding activities.
  • MuleSoft Platform Administration: Manage and maintain the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, overseeing deployment, configuration, and health monitoring of Mule runtime engines across environments.

Process Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Eliminate Silos: Partner with branch managers, customer service, and sales leaders to cascade data sets that support enterprise-level priorities.
  • Drive Efficiency: Analyze delivery, dispatch, and inventory data sets to uncover margin-improvement opportunities and optimize supply chain logistics.
  • SQL & Data Manipulation: Strong SQL skills including complex queries, data manipulation, and performance tuning.
  • Salesforce CRM Administration: Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM administration (flows, validations, architecture).
  • Business Intelligence Expertise: Deep familiarity with BI tools (Sisense preferred; Tableau or PowerBI acceptable).
  • Enterprise ERP Management: Demonstrated capability in managing or integrating enterprise ERP systems.
  • Predictive Analytics & AI: Understanding of predictive analytics models and prompt engines.
  • Servant Leadership & Mindset: A true "Change Agent" with a servant-leader mentality who is comfortable communicating technical logic to software engineers as well as discussing inventory with warehouse managers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Business Operations, or a related analytical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, data analytics, or operations technology leadership—ideally within distribution, logistics, or supply chain.
