The Data Analytics Manager will lead the development and execution of Business Intelligence strategies, ensuring actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency
Purpose:
The Data Analytics Manager is responsible for translating complex business and operational data into actionable insights that support informed decision making across the organization. This role leads data strategy, reporting architecture, analytics roadmaps, and performance dashboards across enterprise platforms and data systems.
The position ensures the availability of accurate, timely, and trusted data to support planning, performance measurement, and leadership reporting. It combines technical expertise with strong business acumen, project leadership, and cross functional collaboration to drive measurable business outcomes.
Key accountabilities:
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high performing analytics team, scaling capabilities in alignment with business needs.
  • Establish best practices for analytics development, documentation, version control, and report lifecycle management.
  • Promote a data driven culture by enabling self-service analytics and improving data literacy across the organization.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions across Salesforce, SQL based systems, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Deliver actionable insights related to business performance, customer behavior, supplier reliability, inventory health, and operational KPIs.
  • Support advanced analytics initiatives, including demand forecasting, pricing analysis, and identification of operational risks and trend
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Programs, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and IT to understand reporting and analytics needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for data structures, reporting, and analytical use cases.
  • Lead data driven initiatives identified by the business such as customer segmentation, performance scorecards, and operational improvement programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key skills and competences:
  • Strong proficiency with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms).
  • Expertise in relational databases, data modeling, and working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience developing analytical solutions, including dashboards, visualizations, and predictive analytics.
  • Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of data governance principles, data quality standards, and compliance considerations.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and advanced analytical techniques (preferred).

Experience and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles.
  • Experience leading or contributing to analytics, reporting, or data-driven programs.
  • Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards within enterprise systems.
  • Experience with demand forecasting, pricing analytics, inventory optimization, or similar analytical model.
  • Background in aerospace, MRO, distribution, or other regulated supply chain environments (preferred).
  • Experience with ERP systems used in complex or regulated industries (e.g., Salesforce, AvSight, Quantum, Pentagon, AMOS, Trax) (preferred).
  • Project management certifications such as PMP or CBIP (preferred).
