EDW Data Analytics Project Manager

Contract Duration: Possible multi-year contract and/or CFH
Location: Remote 

We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics Project Manager to lead strategic data warehouse and analytics initiatives within a healthcarefocused environment. This role oversees full lifecycle project delivery—from planning through implementation and operations—ensuring alignment with client goals, regulatory expectations, and business outcomes. The ideal candidate thrives in a highperformance culture that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead DataDriven Projects: Manage endtoend data warehouse and analytics initiatives using PMI PMBOK standards.
  • Drive Strategic Execution: Oversee project planning, resource forecasting, risk mitigation, and delivery using PMBOK and Agile methodologies.
  • Foster Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with clients, end users, and crossfunctional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Review deliverables, enforce standards, and manage change control and contract compliance.
  • Communicate & Collaborate: Facilitate meetings, status reporting, and executive updates while promoting transparency and accountability.
  • Mentor & Inspire Teams: Lead and motivate direct and matrixed resources, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years managing complex data analytics or BI projects, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proven experience with data warehousing and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problemsolving skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Administration, or Data Analytics.
  • PMP or CBIP certification; Agile/Scrum experience.
  • Experience with Medicaid programs, MMIS, and federal reporting (e.g., CMS64, TMSIS).
  • Familiarity with Teradata, Informatica, SAS, Business Objects, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience managing contracts over $5M and leading change/risk management efforts.
  • Travel: up to two trips a year to Springfield, IL for meetings
