Department Description:

The UDM Social Health Data Reporting & Analytics team supports enterprise and regional Social Health reporting, analytics, data governance, and data product delivery across Kaiser Permanente. The team partners with business, technology, and operational stakeholders to deliver trusted data, reporting solutions, analytics, documentation, and process improvements that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Intern Project Description:

The intern will gain exposure to project management, data governance, analytics operations, and cross-functional healthcare technology delivery. The intern will support project coordination and delivery activities across multiple Social Health reporting and analytics initiatives. Responsibilities may include:

  • Tracking project milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items
  • Coordinating requirements, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communications
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and documentation
  • Maintaining project documentation, SharePoint content, and process guides
  • Assisting with intake requests, meeting facilitation, and status reporting
  • Developing dashboards, trackers, and operational metrics to improve project visibility
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and standardization
