Hiring Senior Data Engineer — AWS & Databricks

Location: Seattle, WA / Dallas, TX / Phoenix, AZ / Charleston, SC

Work Model: Hybrid — 1–2 days/week

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract


Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver modern data platforms using AWS and Databricks. The role focuses on hands-on data engineering across ingestion, transformation, and warehousing for structured and unstructured data.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver end-to-end data engineering solutions across AWS and Databricks.
  • Build scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Partner with architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
  • Establish standards for data quality, governance, reliability, and platform scalability.


Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services across compute, storage, orchestration, and security.
  • Deep experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, cluster management, and job orchestration.
  • Strong experience across the data engineering lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, and warehousing.
  • Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Agentic AI concepts and frameworks.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, including dimensional and canonical modeling.
