From day one, you will work to provide insights and intelligent decision-making across functions and contribute to the delivery of real projects using the latest technology to solve business problems. You will receive one-on-one and group training and coaching from a team of talented experts and take on complex challenges in a rewarding environment.

The Sales & Operations Planning & Product Performance Team's main objective rests with leveraging data and analytical techniques to guide business decisions with primary focus on the health of the company's P&L. The team is divided between the Analytics and the Development team where you will get to work on various activities between both teams. The position is a direct source for providing insight to help enhance the fidelity of commercial decision making for the CRJ Aftermarket and help digitize that effort by developing Online tools & dashboards to deliver recommendations.

Your tasks will include:

Software Development & Data Science:

  • A background or interest in AI models and algorithms
  • Ability to work with and understand big data sets and concepts
  • Perform analysis on datasets to derive insight and guide future decisions
  • Identify data elements and ensure a high level of data quality and accurate reporting.
  • Utilize tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and Python to perform the analysis and communicate findings
  • Develop automated reports and scripts with defined steps and methodology, allowing frequent and streamlined updates.

Development:

  • Ability to work with version control tools, Azure, and understanding of Agile methodology
  • Ability to work with multiple data source files (.pdfs, .sgml, .json and more)
  • Support web development team with design, feature implementation, and end-to-end maintenance of web tool (using SQL, Python, Git, Polars/Pandas, Dash, shadcn/mantine components)
  • Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader
  • Optimizing algorithms to work in constrained environments
  • Familiarity with AI model development particularly LLMs and/or Agents

You will develop the following skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with solving all the main types of analytics: Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive
  • A suite of tools to perform analysis, develop and maintain web applications, and directly ameliorate the company's P&L performance
  • Working knowledge of aviation related data; spare parts, airline operations, industry news, inventory and forecasting, demand planning, and more
