Job description

The Client Reporting Analyst plays an important role in supporting Client Service Operations by preparing, validating, and delivering accurate client, management, audit, and financial reporting. This role contributes to strong operational controls by helping identify risks, maintain documentation, support systems access controls, and participate in process improvements. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external partners while managing multiple reporting deadlines with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail. This opportunity offers exposure to client servicing, investment-related operations, reporting processes, and ongoing business transformation initiatives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, prepare, validate, and deliver client reports, management reports, audit requests, statistical data, and other financial reports in a timely manner.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple reporting deadlines while maintaining checklists, records, shared mailboxes, archive directories, and process documentation.

  • Perform reasonability analyses, explain variances, and support client and fund initiatives such as fund openings, closings, rebalancing, and large withdrawals.

  • Identify, report, and help mitigate financial and operational control weaknesses, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Participate in client servicing activities, process improvements, business transformation efforts, investment systems testing, projects, cross-training, and collaboration with internal and external business partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of client servicing experience.

  • Bilingual in French and English is required. The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field is an asset.

  • Canadian Securities Course is an asset.

  • Experience working with derivatives products, futures, repos, and investment instruments such as bonds, stocks, short terms, and derivatives is an asset.

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the financial services industry, investment funds, and investment-related business is an asset.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with strong numerical accuracy, analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, work independently, and collaborate as a teammate.

  • Thorough knowledge and experience using information systems, particularly Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Salary range is expected to be between

$52,650.00 CAD - $87,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
