Job description

Job Summary:

The Project Manager - CRM Implementation is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of a large-scale CRM transformation program, including migration from legacy AMS platforms (iMIS) to Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role ensures effective planning, delivery coordination, and execution across offshore and onshore teams, while maintaining alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets. The incumbent will manage data migration, financial system integration (Sage Intacct), and cross-functional delivery activities while working closely with product leadership to enable strategic oversight and client relationship management. This role ensures delivery excellence, risk management, and governance across the full project lifecycle.

Job Duties:

  • Leads end-to-end execution of CRM implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and stabilization 
  • Develops and maintains detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations 
  • Coordinates delivery across offshore development teams, onshore Business Analysts, and functional/technical consultants 
  • Manages risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies; escalates proactively as required 
  • Oversees migration from legacy systems (preferably iMIS) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 
  • Drives data conversion and migration efforts, including validation and reconciliation of:
    • Customer/member data
    • Financial data and transactions
    • Historical system records
  • Coordinates integration between Microsoft Dynamics and Sage Intacct, including financial data mapping and reconciliation 
  • Ensures alignment between business requirements and technical delivery across Dynamics 365 CRM implementation 
  • Leads delivery governance processes including status tracking, reporting, documentation, and change management 
  • Runs regular project cadences including sprint reviews, status meetings, and stakeholder updates 
  • Prepares executive-level reporting on project health, budget, schedule, and risks 
  • Manages project budgets, forecasts, burn rates, and resource utilization 
  • Ensures adherence to delivery standards, documentation requirements, and quality controls 
  • Works closely with product leadership to separate strategic oversight from execution responsibilities 
  • Supports UAT coordination, go-live planning, and post-implementation stabilization 
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, required

Experience:

  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in project management for enterprise software implementations, required 
  • Proven experience in CRM implementations, required 
  • Experience migrating from legacy systems (preferably iMIS) to modern CRM platforms, required 
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE), required 
  • Experience with data migration and conversion, including financial data, required 
  • Experience managing offshore and onshore delivery teams, required 
  • Experience working with Sage Intacct or similar financial systems, preferred 
  • Experience in nonprofit, association, or membership-based organizations, preferred
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models, preferred 

Certifications:

  • PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification, preferred

Licensure:

  • N/A

Software:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) 
  • Project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps, Jira) 
  • Data migration tools and ETL frameworks 
  • Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range:  $135,000 - $165,000
Maryland Range:  $135,000 - $165,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range:  $135,000 - $165,000
