Position Description

The CRM Business Analyst (HubSpot & Analytics) is responsible for managing, optimizing, and analyzing Worldwide Electric Corporation's CRM platform to support data-driven decision-making across sales, marketing, and customer support functions. This role combines CRM administration, reporting development, and advanced analytics to transform CRM data into actionable business insights.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and technically proficient in HubSpot administration. This individual will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure CRM processes are aligned with business objectives while maintaining strong data governance and system performance. The CRM Business Analyst will also play a key role in supporting users, improving reporting capabilities, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

HubSpot Administration & Governance

  • Administer the HubSpot platform: Manage users, permissions, configurations, and system settings to support operational needs.
  • Maintain data integrity: Implement data governance practices including deduplication, validation, and standardized data entry processes.
  • Manage CRM architecture: Maintain and optimize CRM objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, and automation processes.
  • Provide user support and troubleshooting: Serve as the primary internal contact for HubSpot-related questions, issues, and technical assistance.
  • Evaluate integrations and enhancements: Identify and implement new tools, integrations, and platform features to improve system capabilities.

2. CRM Reporting & Dashboard Development

  • Develop CRM reporting frameworks: Design and maintain advanced reports and dashboards to support sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Standardize KPI tracking: Monitor metrics related to pipeline health, lead conversion, revenue generation, and customer retention.
  • Automate reporting processes: Build automated dashboards and recurring reports to improve visibility and reduce manual reporting tasks.
  • Provide executive insights: Deliver clear, data-driven summaries to support strategic planning and operational decisions.

3. Data Analytics & Business Insights

  • Conduct deep-dive performance analysis: Evaluate sales performance, customer behavior, and lifecycle trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify revenue optimization opportunities: Detect inefficiencies within the sales funnel and highlight areas for margin improvement.
  • Perform segmentation and trend analysis: Utilize cohort analysis and data modeling to uncover patterns and growth opportunities.
  • Translate data into business insights: Present findings in a clear and actionable format for leadership and operational teams.

4. CRM Optimization & Process Improvement

  • Act as the HubSpot subject matter expert: Maintain strong knowledge of platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Enhance CRM workflows: Collaborate with stakeholders to improve lead scoring, attribution tracking, and workflow automation.
  • Improve system usability: Continuously refine CRM processes to enhance user adoption and reporting accuracy.

  • Support wholesale channel analysis: Analyze distributor and channel partner performance within the CRM ecosystem.
  • Assess customer profitability: Evaluate customer lifetime value, discount structures, and volume-based sales strategies.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with key departments: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align CRM reporting with business priorities.
  • Communicate complex insights clearly: Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support leadership initiatives: Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting to assist with strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in CRM analytics, business analysis, or sales operations
  • Hands-on experience administering HubSpot CRM (MarketingHub, SalesHub, ServiceHub, DataHub), including reporting and data management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis)

Preferred

  • Experience in wholesale, distribution, or B2B industrial environments
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools and market research platforms
  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Working knowledge of SQL or data extraction tools
