Job description

Description
Ensures effective delivery of Janitorial Services for all internal and external contracts under the direction of the NeuRoads Rehab Janitorial Service Manager and Supervisor. Provides customer service in a professional manner and supports Associate Employees (AE's) in developing, retaining, and successfully performing required job skills.
Oversees AE's, including accurate timekeeping and driving to offsite contract locations. Participates in cleaning tasks and ensures contract requirements are met. Maintains adherence to program goals and budgets, including labor, equipment, and supply costs.
Works with internal and external resources to train and coach employees, providing guidance, redirection, and support to ensure high-quality janitorial performance.
Requirements
  • Contract site coordination - Understands multiple contract sites and coordinates the work of several Associate Employees simultaneously.
  • Customer service - Maintains strong communication with internal and external customers and ensures satisfaction with services provided.
  • Safety compliance - Ensures adherence to safety standards, including vehicle maintenance and work-site safety requirements.
  • Recordkeeping - Maintains logs of completed tasks, supports AE's with checklists, and tracks supply/material purchases, submitting all receipts to the Janitorial Service Manager or Director.

Valid New Mexico Driver's License, good driving record and the use of an insured, enclosed vehicle.
High School/GED required.
Minimum of one year relevant experience working hands-on in Janitorial Services is preferred; required for Janitorial Services Coordinators 2 and 3.
Ability to support people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges in the work place.
Must communicate effectively with diverse individuals, customers, and team members, and model work skills on site. Educates, coordinates, and provides side-by-side job coaching for Janitorial Associate Employees across multiple settings. Performs all janitorial tasks, including cleaning restrooms, floors, offices, and windows.
Requires mobility to travel to various Albuquerque-area work sites and the ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Drives Associate Employees to job locations using ARCA vehicles and must be certified inMandt to support individuals with challenging behaviors.
Works in multiple locations based on contract needs and operates large passenger vehicles, including those with wheelchair lifts. Provides substantial transportation support as needed. Strongtime management and task-prioritization skills are essential, both for personal performance and for teaching AE's. Must balance customer needs with the support required for Associate Employees to succeed.
