The Senior Architect, CLM Applications is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise architecture for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions across the organization. This role partners closely with Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Sales, and IT stakeholders to establish a scalable, secure, and globally harmonized CLM platform that aligns with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives. As our team builds and configures our CLM platform on Malbek, we're seeking an architect with hands-on Malbek experience to help lead this work. The Senior Architect provides strategic and technical leadership for CLM implementations, integrations, data architecture, solution governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

How you'll make an impact:

Establish best practices for the implementation, evolution, maintenance, and support of complex enterprise solutions. Ensure scalable architecture and seamless integration across platforms and functions throughout the planning, design, execution, and operational stages.

  • Define system platform and project scope and remain actively engaged through implementation.

  • Provide design and architecture guidance to project teams executing tactical projects and initiatives.

  • Translate business requirements into specific solutions, applications, or process designs in collaboration with project teams.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in at least one area, such as system platform design, business process, software and hardware architecture, project management, or industry practices.

  • Identify and evaluate integration opportunities for lower tier systems. Provide input on new integration opportunities, including tool selection and shared data and code resources.

  • Establish communication and documentation approaches that highlight external emerging developments and promote new technologies, standards, and methodologies.

  • Document clear and concise change management for systems and processes by following IT and Quality change procedures.

  • Provide training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to team members.

  • Perform other incidental duties as assigned.

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 10 years of related experience.

  • Related professional certifications in areas such as programming, database development, project management, or similar disciplines.

  • Architecture certification, such as TOGAF, Zachman, or a similar architecture framework.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or a similar industry.

What else we look for (preferred):

  • Working hands-on experience with Malbek CLM, including exposure to configuration and/or implementation.

  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including negotiation, relationship management, and the ability to drive objectives forward.

  • Recognized expertise within Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform(s)

  • Expert knowledge in at least one discipline, such as Contract Lifecycle Management or Configuration Management.

  • Strong technical knowledge of technical languages or data management systems, middleware and direct API connectors

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to the appropriate levels of management.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strict attention to detail.

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $139,000 to $196,000 (highly experienced).
