Shifts Available: 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift

What youโ€™ll do
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to engineering drawings and CNC programs, holding tight tolerances.
  • Execute challenging, progressive machining on diverse metals with very close tolerances.
  • Swap out dull tools; make offsets/adjustments to compensate for wear.
  • Drive Operator Owned Quality (OOQ): measure, interpret results, and act to meet specs.
  • Complete daily maintenance checklists and follow the PM schedule.
  • Perform hand-finishing operations.
  • Adhere to GMP/GDP at all times; accurately complete job routers/cards.
  • Engage in safe work practices and report Safety, Health & Environmental concerns.
  • Meet productivity targets and recommend process improvements.
  • Record activities promptly in the job tracking system.
  • Support and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Escalate manufacturing issues to Team Leader/Supervisor and assist in resolution.
  • Maintain 5S and strong housekeeping.
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
What it takes

Minimum

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience

Preferred

  • Associateโ€™s degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or a machinist apprenticeship
  • Prior work in a production environment
  • GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only)
Capabilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines; ability to run multiples simultaneously
  • Applied math for measurement and accurate counting
  • Time management: plan, prioritize, and organize against deadlines
  • Follow detailed work instructions consistently
