Job Title: Office Assistant - Catering

Industry: Professional Services

Location (city, state): Arlington, VA

Assignment Type: Contract, up to 2 weeks with potential for a part-time extension

Pay: $25-$26/hr (depending on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, fully onsite, 40 hours/week

About Our Client:

Addison Group is hiring an Office Assistant - Catering on behalf of our client, a large and established professional services organization with a collaborative office environment in Arlington, VA.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a polished and dependable Office Assistant to support daily meeting and catering needs. This person will coordinate food orders, prepare meeting spaces and provide general office support while working with a variety of personalities and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate catering orders for multiple meetings and lunches throughout the day
  • Arrange and prepare food and meeting spaces before events
  • Communicate with catering vendors to ensure orders are accurate and timely
  • Keep meeting areas organized and ready for employees and visitors
  • Assist with general office needs and other tasks as requested
  • Take initiative and step in wherever support is needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of office or administrative support experience
  • Experience coordinating catering or food orders for meetings and events
  • Comfortable managing multiple requests and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Professional, polished and service-oriented demeanor
  • Proactive "no task is too small" attitude
  • Proven performers preferred
  • Able to start Monday, 8/31
  • Education is not required
