• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs, facilitating open dialogues to capture their experiences and concerns effectively.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to the specific circumstances and backgrounds of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate meaningful progress.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, therapy sessions, and progress to ensure compliance with health regulations and facilitate continuity of care.
• Regularly collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, engaging in case discussions that enhance client care and foster shared learning.
• Stay informed about the latest therapeutic interventions and best practices in social work, actively seeking professional development opportunities.

The primary focus of your role will be to work with pediatric and adolescent clients facing mental health challenges. You will provide therapeutic support to children and teens experiencing various difficulties, including but not limited to trauma, anxiety-related disorders, and depressive episodes. Tailoring your approach to the individual needs of clients is essential, as their experiences and backgrounds can vary widely.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, ensuring you possess the foundational knowledge necessary to support diverse client populations.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Virginia is essential for practice.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are fundamental to effectively connecting with clients and colleagues alike.
• You should have robust problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, enhancing your efficacy as a clinician.
